Touch Screen Controls
Vector's Touch Screen Control System provides the operator the ability to control and monitor the process from an easy-to-use touch screen.
Manual and Automatic operation of the process is provided through the control system along with defining process recipes, calibration of spray guns, maintaining and trouble shooting process equipment and cleaning the machine (Optional).
Additionally, the operator will be able to develop, store and automatically execute defined process recipes. One recipe is standard, but up to 40 recipes are possible.
Each process mode is protected by a security system that will deny access to operators that are not approved for certain functions.
The main element of the control system is the small touch screen operator interface panel located in the process area. Everything that the operator needs to run the machine will be located on this panel.
Mounted in a remote location, there will be a power panel containing the PLC and related instrumentation and power components. All field mounted sensors and devices will be connected to this panel. An optional modem is available to allow remote trouble shooting of the equipment.
